Education custom tailored to maximize your growth! Your workshop will be spent doing whatever will most effectively help you with where you are in your business and photography. 

Dan will give full-disclosure on every aspect of our operations: workflows, marketing, negotiations, lighting, retouching, etc. For workshops at our studio, Dan can assemble custom practice sessions where he’ll coach you through photographing real subjects with your own hands and eyes so that new skills are retained and your memory card is filled with cool new image ideas to take home and study. He can also teach you his renowned retouching and compositing techniques to push your imagery to the next level, all while screen recording the process so you can take home a customized tutorial for regular review.

PRICING

FULL-DAY PRIVATE WORKSHOP 

$2500

$1500 per additional person.

Add a second day at 50% off.

This workshop is an 8 hour day. Fee includes models appropriate to what you'd like to shoot and catered lunch and refreshments. Gear will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your specific equipment setup if you prefer.

If you’re coming in from out of town, the nearest airport to us is Des Moines International Airport (DSM) located 50 mins south of the studio. Rental cars can be reserved at the airport. If you do not wish to rent a car, it will be possible to get here without one. Shuttles run between the airport and Ames by reservation ($66 round trip or as low as $36 round trip if people coordinate booking). You could use Uber or the hotel's shuttle service to get to and from the studio each day.

*Dan can travel and teach at your location for the same rates + room and board + $1500 for travel days.

2-HOUR ONLINE WORKSHOP

Learn from Dan in the comfort of your home or studio. A 2-hour Zoom meeting discussing business, lighting Techniques, image breakdowns, screen recorded retouching, or whatever you want! These 2 hours are completely shaped and molded to fit what you would like to add to your tool belt.
