Dijana and Regan's intimate outdoor ceremony was held at Reiman Gardens at sunset. The celebration was a small gathering of family and close friends. Dijana's choice of yellow Calla Lillys for her bouquet and decoration created a beautifully subtle accent to the natural backdrops of the day's events. For wedding party, the couple had only a Best Man and Maid of Honor (both siblings) which further enhanced the intimacy of the occasion and enabled them to be more family focused. Pre-ceremony we photographed Dijana and Regan's First Look followed by their portraits on a scenic bike path where the couple frequently takes walks. Dijana brought a bright red, old-school bicycle that made for some stellar photographs! The reception (also at Reiman) consisted of an indoor seating area connected to an outdoor dance floor. The food was catered by The Cafe (the best restaurant in Ames!) and included hors d'oeuvres, drinks, dinner and dessert. It was an unbelievably delicious spread that still has us talking about it :) The day was truly a joyous occasion to photograph. Dijana and Regan - we wish you all the best as you move forward in your life together and kick some marital butt!
Danielle and Travis are both in the military and have been stationed apart for most of their engagement, but recently came to Iowa together for a brief spell to make arrangements for their wedding later this year. We were able to meet up for an engagement session and had a blast! We were blessed with one of the first (rain free) beautiful Spring days of the year which enabled us to shoot at some sweet outdoors locations next to our new studio. Travis and Danielle’s edgy style and affection for one another made photographing them a very natural and enjoyable experience (but the photos say that better than words). We can’t wait for their wedding!
