"Radtern" (rad + intern) is a word we just made up because we couldn't find an existing word in the English dictionary that does Victoria justice. She's our first ever intern and we're stoked to have her on board with us this summer! We hand–picked Victoria to join our crew because she's got a lethal combination of talent and personality. She's a senior at the University of Iowa studying Cinema Production and South Asian Studies. Victoria will be helping with our busy portrait workflow and will also be filming several video projects that we have in the works. (details are hush hush for now, but we'll be releasing some no–holds–barred educational photography content that will be off the hook!) Just how rad is Victoria? Since a picture is worth 1000 words, we've summed it up for you in approximately 9000 words:
Dijana and Regan's intimate outdoor ceremony was held at Reiman Gardens at sunset. The celebration was a small gathering of family and close friends. Dijana's choice of yellow Calla Lillys for her bouquet and decoration created a beautifully subtle accent to the natural backdrops of the day's events. For wedding party, the couple had only a Best Man and Maid of Honor (both siblings) which further enhanced the intimacy of the occasion and enabled them to be more family focused. Pre-ceremony we photographed Dijana and Regan's First Look followed by their portraits on a scenic bike path where the couple frequently takes walks. Dijana brought a bright red, old-school bicycle that made for some stellar photographs! The reception (also at Reiman) consisted of an indoor seating area connected to an outdoor dance floor. The food was catered by The Cafe (the best restaurant in Ames!) and included hors d'oeuvres, drinks, dinner and dessert. It was an unbelievably delicious spread that still has us talking about it :) The day was truly a joyous occasion to photograph. Dijana and Regan - we wish you all the best as you move forward in your life together and kick some marital butt!
